Part Three:
well, whoever said it gets easier the second time you do something was totally wrong! I unpicked the middle pocket three times. I measured and pinned it, but something must’ve gone haywire when I started to sew because it wasn’t staying put.
I also decided in my wisdom 🤔🤷♀️ that I would add extra interfacing to the elastic strip side, only because I noticed in my first bag once items were added, the pocket sagged a bit. So I stuck my scraps on top of my other interfacing. I decided I now have: ‘Caddy brain’ 😂

The other side to the elastic strip side. I put the zip in the wrong way round, but actually decided it looked prettier at the front so will leave it like this.

At least I’ve finished my pockets, so not sure yet if I’ll add those to the side panels next or start on the front of the bag.
im liking the switched round pocket, so I’ll have the elastic strip at the back, and the four mini pockets at the front.
This time, I’ve added more pockets to the back of the double double pocket ( as I call it), and another elastic strip that will go at the very back. I’ve sewn it further down, because then I can add larger scissors if I want to.
so here is the front of all my pockets…( I think I’ve been on a ‘Pocket frenzy‘! )🤪😂

Front of all my pockets

Back of all my pocket.
I then sewed my pockets into my side panels
