Part Fourteen

Adding the clear vinyl pencil cases, and finishing off the bag.

I hand sewed press studs ( poppers) on to the places that were shown on the pattern piece.

I also only have blue and black zip pencil cases at the moment, but might look for burgundy or green as they will go better with my finished bag, but I made holes and added eyelets with my Cropodile, then put a large brass jump ring through the eyelet. I did two with the zip one way, and two the other to try and cut down on bulk if the zips were all closing the same way.

That‘s it……it’s finished!!!! Hoorah!

How I added my pvc pencil cases.

I also wanted to be able to swap out my ironing pad for a small healing cutting mat. This is really great because it fits snugly under the ironing mat when not in use, and I can slip things under it at the back too.
