Yes, I’m a glutton for punishment. Going to start making a Steampunk themed carry all in a few weeks. Gathering supplies, so watch this space lol! Suzanne and I ( and maybe Heidi too (my Admin team in my Facebook group), are going to make another as a group event.
if you are interested in Joining us ( and of course Junk Journalling), join us here:

starting: part one:
ok so we’ve started again making another bag.
I had a bit of a hiccup with my fabric as basically it didn’t turn up from Ebay ( it arrived much later because extra postage costs had to be paid), so I had to order the same pattern off another seller….. which luckily did turn up.
overall my new fabric was much thinner than my curtain fabric that I used for my first bag, so I decided to add another layer of lining fabric to flatline my nice fabric with, just to bulk it up a bit.
I cut out the pieces, and started with the sides of the bag:

Cutting out the sides

Outside external fabric
Inside internal fabric and two finished pieces
Ive since added some brown bias binding to the top part as I like the look of it. You don’t have to though as they aren’t raw edges.
